Honda Motor has unveiled the prototype of its next-generation electric SUV, the Honda 0 α (alpha), at the Japan Mobility Show 2025.
The company confirmed that the production model will launch in India and Japan in 2027, with plans to expand to other global markets. Since the Honda 0 α will be manufactured locally in India, it’s likely to be available in Nepal as well.
Developed as a versatile SUV designed to suit both urban and natural environments, the Honda 0 α aims to support people’s lifestyles in all situations. As part of the Honda 0 Series, following the 0 Saloon and 0 SUV unveiled earlier this year at CES 2025, the 0 α will serve as an entry point to the Honda 0 Series line-up.

The vehicle incorporates Honda 0 Series’ “Thin, Light, and Wise” philosophy. Its low-height, wide-stanced design maintains ground clearance while creating a roomy interior. The exterior combines sleek sophistication with classic SUV proportions.
Both the front and rear feature integrated screen areas—blending headlights, charging lid, and illuminated emblem at the front, and U-shaped tail lamps, backup, and turn signal lights at the rear—resulting in a visually striking design.

With production scheduled for 2027, the Honda 0 α is set to bring a refined electric SUV experience to Japan, India, and beyond.
